You may be thinking, "This teacher offers alot…it
must be expensive." I do have a lot to offer perspective students, however
the cost is very affordable. I teach first for the love of it. If you have
considered paying for a school music program, you'll be pleased at how
much I can offer your child at a cost often below the school program. Some
in-school programs don't offer drums until children reach 5th, 6th, even
7th grade. If your child is enrolled in a school program he/she will not
receive the one-on-one attention available in a private
lesson.
It is not
necessary to purchase a drum set. To start lessons your child will need,
1. A pair of drumsticks. 2. A practice pad. 3. A
standard wire ring notebook. All of this can be purchased for no
more than thirty dollars. As your child progresses and you consider buying
a drum set, I'll help you do that based on your budget and child's needs.
Skills like math, logic, and spatial relations will increase along with
self-confidence/control and communication. Most important your son or
daughter will be having the time of their lives. Please contact me
to discuss your child's needs, and when they start lessons I encourage you
to stay, observe and be involved.
